Giant pencils

Yay, the big movie theatre only costs 3 euro per film this weekend! So I’m going to District 9 with some friends tonight :D. I’m really excited *sci-fi nerd*.

Dress: Dari Meya
Shoes: Used to be my mom’s

Do I even need to tell you how much I love this dress? It has a bunny and a girl on it! In case it’s awesomeness isn’t obvious enough:

The bottom isn’t perfectly sharp because I kind of fail at standing still but you can see it right? It’s SO CUTE.

I also love these boots. It’s not that noticeable from this picture but the tip is too large for the rest of the shoe so they remind me of Pippi Longstocking XD. Coincidentally, I’m going to see a Pippi Longstocking musical next week! I’m stoked for that, I’m a huge Astrid Lindgren fan and all the teachers called me Pippi back in high school (even though Ronja has always been my favourite). Apparently you’re supposed to dress up as Pippi for the musical, which well, why not? :D

Hippotamus!

Today is actually the first day of the week in which I haven’t worn a new dress, but oh well! I am wearing a new pair of shoes though :D. They are slightly too small but shhh. I really wanted them ^^;.

Dress: Zara
Shoes: Topshop

I need more sneakers in my life, okay? XD Anyway, it’s a lovely sunny day, so my outfit suits perfectly! Unlike all the other people I saw walking around today, who were wearing SO MUCH CLOTHING. It just confuses me when people were black woollen tights when it’s over 20 degrees °C out ^^;.

I love this dress by the way, but it’s so annoying to wear since it doesn’t really… stay up properly XD. Would some of that special tape help it? Or maybe I should just take it in a bit… I already did somewhat, but when I was in a hurry.

Dance This Mess Around

Skooter | Outfits | Monday, September 21st, 2009

I’m back from London (have been for a few days) and it was fab. I bought SO much stuff. Five dresses, three pairs of shoes, two shirts, etcetera XD. I wore one of my new dresses to my first day of school:

Dress: Dahlia at Topshop
Shoes: Replay

Cardigan: H&M
Bag: Camden Town

I really wanted a cheerful dress with big flowers, and I found the perfect one :D.

Bombing Mission

Yesterday we went to Cologne for a video game music concert! The Cologne Philharmonic Orchestra played music from Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Mana, Chrono Cross/Trigger and Final Fantasy. It was awesome (a report is at my Livejournal). But here’s what I wore:

Shirt: H&M
Skirt: Secondhand
Shoes: fake Converse

I bought the Star Wars shirt a few days ago at H&M, together with the colourful one from my previous post. I’m so happy with it, it will be perfect in my closet next to my Darth Vader shirt : D (which I now realize I haven’t posted here yet, I’ll have to wear it soon!). Poor Ben Kenobi got cut off because of my skirt though.

This post is pretty geeky huh? XD Japanese RPG’s and Star Wars! I’m off to play some more Final Fantasy III (that end boss keeps kicking my ass!) and pack for London tomorrow. See you all in a few days :D.

Ponyo Ponyo Ponyo

Skooter | Outfits | Thursday, September 10th, 2009

Yesterday I went to see Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea (LOVE LOVE LOVE), I also did some slight shopping. School supplies and some new shirts! I wasn’t supposed to buy more stuff before London, but I’m always lacking in the shirt departement so I just couldn’t resist.

Shirt: Malahierba
Skirt: Kenzo (secondhand)
Shoes: Camper

I fell in love with this shirt when I bought it because it has POCKETS. Pockets *always* win in skirts, shirts or dresses :D. Also, I can never resist a print with random animals in a tree :D.

Shirt: H&M
Skirt: Topshop

And here’s what I’m wearing right now. My cousin’s coming over tonight and we’re gaming and watching Gilmore Girls :D. This is one of the shirts I bought yesterday. And I know it isn’t really a complete outfit, but I couldn’t be arsed to put on socks or shoes ^^;.

Yes, I’m really trying my best at this ‘updating regularly’ thing :D. Here’s what I wore to my last ‘exam’, where I had to do an oral presentation. I was so nervous, like usual. It shows in my face XD.

Dress: Thailand
Cardigan: Vero Moda
Boots: Sacha

I wore my best comfort clothes to stay calm: my dotted Thailand dress and my yellow boots :D.

I  have a busy week ahead of me but I’ll try to keep updating! Daphné’s coming over in a bit to plan for London but I haven’t even gotten dressed yet. I’m a bit hungover from celebrating last night XD.

Kidz Are So Small

Skooter | Outfits | Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

Today was my last real exam. Now all I have to do is a five-minute oral presentation on Saturday. I still need to finish my text and practice my pronunciation but yay, no more studying!

Cardigan: Topshop
T-shirt: Possibly Nintendo
Skirt: H&M
Shoes: New Look

This is pretty much exactly like an older outfit of mine, but I figured it didn’t really matter since I haven’t posted that one on this blog yet XD. I just came across it sorting some files and felt like wearing it again :D.

Jacket: Used to be my dad’s

I actually haven’t posted my sailor jacket on here either, shockingly enough! This is one of my favourite things because 1. it’s a sailor jacket. 2. my dad wore it as a teenager. 3. my dad saw David Bowie live in it and Bowie was wearing a captain hat during!! So yes, it’s now a family heirloom XD.

And the earrings I’m wearing. Aren’t they totally fab? They were made for me by Eline from A Fluffy Blog. They are basically the physical representation of this website XDD. I am so collecting animal earrings haha. I already have these whales, the yellow elephants, a pair of crocodiles, blue penguins, giraffes (though one is broken) and one lonely leopard :D.

Frigate

Skooter | Outfits | Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

I finally got out of the house again yesterday XD. Of course, it had to rain on that exact day *sigh*. But all is well, I only have two more exams this week and then I’m free! (for a few months)

Dress: 2e
Shoes: Pomme d’Or

I really, desperately, need more shoes but I never find any that I both like and are comfortable D:. I’m going to London soon, does anyone know any good shoe shops there? Anyway, I bought this dress on sale in my mom’s favourite local store. It’s usually too expensive for me, but they have such pretty dresses there! It was 60% off, so yay! I fell in love with the soft wool, the pattern and the casual yet elegant style *_*. Especially the row of buttons at the sides!
