Dress: Used to be my grandmother’s
Belt: Thailand
Shoes: Camper

Oops, my petticoat is showing! This is an old dress that I patched up earlier today. Patching up isn’t anything fancy, it basically just means I attached new buttons (little white flowers! But I didn’t have time to take a detail shot) and sewed at some details. There’s still holes in the dress, but I think I’m too lazy to fix those (also, I wouldn’t know how!).

I bought these shoes last Friday and am so happy with them! I’ve been looking for comfortable, good quality, red pumps forever. A pair that I can wear shopping or to university, and this is it!

Ever fallen in love?

I haven’t been feeling that well, but I had to go out to buy some school supplies today, and here’s what I wore.

Shirt: Secondhand market
Skirt: Secondhand shop
Shoes: Pomme d’Or

I swear I don’t wear yellow every day! Just… most days. It’s such an addictive colour, I can never get enough of it. I also love this shirt and it’s painfully bright orange stripes!

Beret: Veritas
Coat: H&M

My camera is still refusing to get this coat’s colour right! Oooh, it’s frustating me so.

A rather bright picture of the Topshop cardigan I wore with it. It has yellow, green and red heart buttons! I wish I had more of these buttons, I would put them on everything!

Boats and whales!

I do apologize for not having updated in a while! I’ve just been a bit distracted and tired the past week. But here’s what I wore today to go shopping with my mom (20% off in H&M, they do know how to lure us!).

Cardigan: Vero Moda
Shirt: Topshop
Skirt: Kenzo (secondhand)
Shoes: Sacha

We went to my mom’s favourite store (Twiggy, which has brands like Just in Case and Tara Jarmon), and they had SO MANY gorgeous clothes! Usually there’s not a lot I like there because it aims at a different age group, but their spring collection is beautiful. It was depressing because their clothes are very expensive, and no matter how much I love spending money, I cannot justify spending 160 euros on one skirt.

But I did buy a new skirt and summer jacket at H&M, pictures when I wear them. The skirt is in the exact same fabric as my green coat from the previous post haha.

Yes, this shirt has whales and boats on it! So basically it is my favourite shirt ever. Ever. Ever. I’m also wearing a boat pin on my yellow cardigan, that I found last weekend between my grandmother’s old jewellery. It was a surprise, because most of her pins are the ‘elegant, vintage’ kind.

Yay parties

Here’s what I wore to a friend’s birthday party on Friday. I couldn’t post right away because I spent the entire Saturday hungover, oh dear! From what I remember, I think I had fun XD.

Dress: Secondhand market
Shoes: Sacha

This is the first post on this blog where I am wearing my all-time favourite shoes, my yellow boots! You’ll be seeing a lot more of these probably. I kind of want them in every colour.

Sweater: H&M

So, apparently my camera doesn’t like green. At all. I had a horrible experience trying to get the colour right in Photoshop, and it still isn’t perfect. It was a lot worse however, with this coat:

Beret: Veritas (too expensive T_T)
Coat: H&M

It is the most perfect grass green but because the fabric has a shine to it, the picture refuses to come out right. If anyone has any photography tips for perfect colours, let me know!

I made this bow from scrap fabric (I had to fight over it with my mom, but in the end we just split it in half XD), and am really happy with how it turned out.

Also, I got my first blog award from Andrea of A Cat of Impossible Colour. She gave me these two:

I think the point of blog awards is to give them to people you like? I’m just going to copy Andrea and give them to Eline from A Fluffy Blog as well XD. Because she was at Friday’s party and looked fab as ever!
